Alan wanted to propose in Venice to his girlfriend Emily on the Canal Grande, and had really an original idea. He rented a Brussa Boat http://www.brussaisboat.it/en/.
This was the secret plan:
1-We will meet inside and after I finish paperwork, you can come introduce yourself to Emily and I as part of the crew for the boat, you can also pretend to be a translator for us?
2-We will be on the boat I expect Emily and I to just sit and take in the views of the Grand Canal through the path in the map.
3-I will propose to Emily approximately at point (E) after these 1st photos of the proposal we can continue with taking photos.
Notes: For the proposal photo, I chose this boat because of the openness, I want the wooden planks to look as though it was a pier that we are standing on in the middle of the grand canal, like our own personal pier.
I will ask her to stand on the wooden planks while we are stopped and then I will turn to you and nod my head to signal you that I am about to propose.
After this I will trust you to use your photography skills to capture the proposal moment and the moments after on water and on land.
I think area (E) on the attached map will look the best.
Was a great day, a lot of fun, big success for Alan, Emily said “Of course”!
